Notes

• This Soul could be a reference to Lord Gwyn from the original Dark Souls. However, as the three other Great Souls acquired in NG+ are references to the Lord Souls from the original game, it could also be a reference to The Four Kings of New Londo. The fact that it can be traded for Blinding Bolt, the description of which mentions the "God of Sun", points more towards Gwyn.
• Without the awful English translation it's pretty clear that it's a reference to the sun's firstborn, same for "ichorous earth".
