In-Game Description

Bottle filled with dried red butterflies.
Stimulation of these rare butterflies creates a
small flame, allowing torches to be lit on the go.

These butterflies exude secretions which ignite
upon exposure to air, protecting them from
natural predators. Known and loved as handy
fire-lighters, but feared as the catalysts of
disastrous fires when found in swarms.

• Three near the shortcut gate in the skeleton cave in Huntsman's Copse.
• Five after the Smelter Demon in Iron Keep, in a metal chest along with the Porcine Shield.
• One on a corpse in the open area with Lion Clan Warriors in Shaded Woods.
• One is inside the Scorpioness Najka boss room on top of a dead tree. To get it, bait her to attack the tree.
• One in the room where Weaponsmith Ornifex is in Brightstone Cove Tseldora.
• Two can be found inside a pot in the Gutter.
• Ten in Drangleic Castle, in the room with the Estus Flask Shard chest.
• One on a branch in Shrine of Amana, along with a Twinkling Titanite: to obtain it, break the branch and collect the item from the water.
