Description
"Well-traveled explorer. Not terribly powerful, but has many items."
This class is intended for players who wish to have an advantage in the number of items they have in the early game.
The Explorer starts as a jack-of-all-trades, but is not particularly competent at anything. If you want to make a melee-focused character, you will need to add Strength, Dexterity, and Endurance. if you want a caster, you will need Attunement along with either Intelligence or Faith. The only real reason to start as this class is for the items, with the Pharros' Lockstone being the most valuable of the lot. He does, however, come dressed in a very fashionable hat that provides an item discovery rate bonus. Other classes can buy this early on. He also has the highest starting adaptability and agility of all classes, which gives him the ability to roll through more attacks than any other starting class.
Due to the large assortment of helpful items it comes with, this class is fantastic for both beginners and those who are liberal with their items.
