Weapons
Black Knight Ultra-Greatsword, any big sword; should also work with regular greatswords.
Equipment
Smelter Demon Helm (must), any torso that looks like it's in tatters.
Preferred leggings & arm armor.
I personally run Smelter Helm, Cale's Leather Armor, Lion Mage Cuffs and Royal Soldier's Leggings.
For rings, I run Royal Soldier's +2, Third Dragon Ring (both help with keeping me below 50% equipment load), Chloranthy (since we're swinging an UGS and our load makes the Stamina regen. mediocre.
Last slot is for utility, really; if you don't want to invest into Attunement, you can put on the Southern Ritual Band +2 for 3 slots.
Anything to suit your current situation.
Spells
Flame Weapon, Immolation and any other Pyromancy you like.
Immolation should only be used in PvP; not worth the constant health management in PvE.
Tips
Stats are for the Black Knight UGS, so tailor those as thou sees fit.
Main problem with this build is the health loss; I tried using one of those items that increases Fire resistance, but it over-rides Immolation. Same with Replenishment/Resplendent Life.
*Depends on how you use your ring slots.
